The IAAB Team

As an Accounting Associate, Aimee handles complete bank reconciliations, issues payments to vendors and insurance carriers, monitors receivables & payables, and reconciles direct bill commissions for IAAB. She corresponds directly with agency owners, CSRs, agency vendors and carriers to resolve and advise on payable and receivable issues. Aimee has an Associate’s Degree in Accounting and joined IAAB in 2013. Outside of work she enjoys exercising, gardening, going to the beach, singing, playing instruments and spending time with her husband and two girls.

As an Accounting Clerk, Alexis reports discrepancies and reconciles commissions for the agencies she works with. She joined IAAB in 2019 and is currently working towards a Psychology degree. Allison is an Accounting Associate who records financial transactions for multiple insurance agencies. She has certificates in Accounting and Business Administration, while also holding an Associate’s Degree in the latter. She is currently working on getting my bachelor’s in accounting. Amber is an Accounting Associate for Applied Epic agencies. She records bank transactions, reconciles bank records, sets up agency/vendor payments, and records direct bill commission statements. Andy works as a Staff Accountant for Applied Epic agencies and has been with IAAB since 2019.  He has earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Central Connecticut State University. He handles reconciling bank records, recording bank transactions, setting up vendor and agency bill payments as well as reviewing financial statements, accounts receivable and accounts payables. Brenda is the President of IAAB.  She earned her MBA from the University of Connecticut, Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Central Connecticut State University and has the CIC designation.  She formed IAAB in 2007 after working in-house at agencies for many years.  She has earned the NetVU Certification of Insurance Accounting, is a member of the NetVU Educators Guild and has completed all required sessions of the Applied Epic accounting series sponsored by the Applied Client Network. Brenda’s passion for her profession is also clear in her teaching. She has served as an adjunct accounting instructor at the University of Connecticut and the Connecticut Community College System. Outside of accounting Brenda enjoys volunteering for civic events having served as President of the Torrington-Winsted Area Rotary Club, renovating old homes, and listening to music.

Bryan joined the IAAB team in January 2016 and is currently an Accountant working with Applied Systems Agency Principals and staff. He has earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Central Connecticut State University. Bryan welcomes any type of challenge and looks forward to creating new agency relationships. Evan is the Executive Assistant at IAAB who joined the team in 2021. He corresponds with prospective clients, helps to solve technical issues, and supports management in various efforts. Josh holds Bachelor’s Degrees in Accounting and Psychology from the University of Connecticut. Joining IAAB in 2011, he quickly learned the insurance side of accounting and now oversees all IAAB’s Applied Systems clients. He prepares monthly financials while doing day to day work for clients to keep up to date with the latest rollout changes on Applied EPIC. He plays an integral role in training new associates and onboarding new agencies. As Director of Accounting, Josh enjoys the relationship side of his career, especially problem solving for his clients and the rest of the IAAB team. Outside of work, Josh, is an avid reader, admits he can’t live without Netflix and enjoys gardening, hiking, entertaining, and spending time with his friends and family.

Stephanie has been a part of IAAB since 2011 and works as Bookkeeper & Staff Accountant.
